Smiles

Most people smile because they are friendly.  Years ago I knew an attorney who was a prominent politician. He could of been demeaning you, hating you, or suing you for your last dollar, but he always did it with a smile.

The lesson from this was his smile was his mask.  It called to mind a childhood book about Davey Crockett that my Mother read to me.  The story goes that Davey Crockett had a grinning contest with a grizzly bear. Instead of fighting the grizzly, ol' Davey just grinned that critter away.

When you see a smile like this...

...run the other way.
